hot flambed bananas ??

I've two bags of bananas to use up.
I remembered on holiday once the chef in the hotel was making these fanastic 'flambed bananas'(sorry about spelling) He was using rum i think and sugar and cooking them in a frying pan before our eyes and they were to die for :j . we have quite a bit of booze left over from xmas so that should be quite ms.

We had fried bananas (coated in flour and cinnamon and fried in butter) with butterscotch sauce and strawberries last night - just simmer butter, brown sugar, some white sugar and golden syrup for a few minutes, then take off the heat and add cream and a little vanilla essence.
It was yum! Not quite flambe, but totally delicious.I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.
