Guardian Newspaper loses £249 Billion

Take a look at this comparison chart for the FTSE 100 companies on the Guardian website.

Note the 2007 pie chart for the banks. The total adds up £325.5 billion but the constituents add up to £78.8 billion, a missing £249 billion.

Well from my cursory look at the numbers, I think that's exactly what they've done. The total is the total from 2007, the market caps are from now.0
