Not sure where to ask this question and apologies if it is in the wrong thread

I am trying to find a site where I can check how much things cost in 1949, I've googled and cannot find anything, can anyone help? Fingers crossed that someone can point me in the right direction.

A bit early but I found this, it gives the prices of things during the war:
