Hello
Some help please! I took out a private pension via Lloyds bank in about 1990/1991
I paid into the pension until 1997 when I moved abroad, I then stopped the payments, I still have some paper work and a policy number, but I think Black Horse Life Assurance Company Ltd no longer exist and have been taken over by someone else? How would I find out where my pension is? Just to complicate matters I got married in 2003, so I do not have any paperwork with my married name on.
Any ideas? How do I contact the company that has my policy?
Many thanks for any advice

They are part of Scottish Widows now. Same policy numbers just a different logo in the corner.
If you inform them of your change of address, marriage certificate copy and give them the policy number and ask for a statement, you should be fine.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
