Hi all

I’ve just arrived home to find a letter from the above company chasing a debt of £205, in my name, now I know for a fact this is not me as I’ve had a problem with another company chasing the same debt, something to do with Littlewoods, anyway the other company was sending letters to my parents address (my previous address) so they have obviously check records to see where I live now.

Originally I sent a letter explaining I’m not the person they are after but must share his name, id not heard anything for about 6 months, now this!!

What should be my plan of action cause having people arrive round my house trying to take things from me for a debt that is not mine (even if I do share their name) is not on

And i dont want my credit rating being effected by some cowboy company!!

Debt collectors have no legal rights whatsoever.

Do the letter mention them?

No, just that they have tracked me to this new address and now they want their money, i rang them to say they had the wrong person but right name (i think i made a mistake saying i had the same name!!)
