Hi Everybody....as the title of this thread makes clear, i need my memory refreshing. a few weeks ago i heard Martin on the Jeremy Vine show talking about loans. If i remember right i am sure he said there was a way of applying for a loan but the application will not go down on you credit history? Does anyone remember this? If so please enlighten me!!Thanks.

I think this is the moneysupermarket.com service that uses an estimate of your experian credit score to recommend suitable loans.
It is not totally foolproof.
If you scroll up this very page you will find the link in yellow at the top.
Be careful though, MS might 'recommend' a secured loan (because they get higher commission) even though the APR or risk may not be the best for your circumstances.
