Just after abit of advice regarding credit

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is in the right forum but if it isn't then could a mod move it to the correct forum please?

Anyway, like the title says i'm just after abit of advice regarding credit.

I can't seem to get credit from anywhere, other than a credit card with barclays (with a rediculous apr of 27%)

I dont understand why though, i mean i know my age may have something to do with it (i'm 19) but i have never missed a payment on anything in my life (such as my mobile phone contract which i have had since june last year, car insurance which i have had since november, and my credit card which i have had since september)

I recently went for a £1000 loan with my bank but was turned down, and then was turned down for a £50 overdraft with said bank.

I can't get my head round why i am being turned down for credit even though i have demonstrated that i can pay all my bills on time.

Any advice?

Thanks, Martin
