Getting calls from a company calling themselves hillside place. Tel no
01236 435262. Thinks its from Scotland. Can anyone shed any light on this. Pretty please.

Afraid I've lost my software I had to look up the exact area of a phone number. Yes, you can do so quite legally before anyone here says otherwise.
But a quick Google reveals that number to be in the Airdrie area or that district. So, yes, it is Scotland. However, never heard of a DCA called 'Hillside Place'. Unless that's where they hang out eg address. Sensibly, if you don't know who they are I just wouldn't answer the phone. You wouldn't want to be paying a debt that isn't yours for example? Because they could also be a tracing company. Some of whom work from home, not at a business address. They get commission for doing it. Just another idea for you.
Another quick search using Hillside Place and the number, reveals nothing. So they potentially are not whom they claim. Phishing.Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.
