Anyone here with Redstone?

Is anyone here with Redstone? I come off a fixed rate with them in a few months and I'm trying to get some idea of what their SVR currently is. I've no chance of re-mortgaging elsewhere for a long time.
Feedback appreciated. Not sure that I will like what I will see as they are a sub prime lender but I would rather get some idea in advance.

  • hi there you poor thing...

I wish that i had never heard of them as my life has been ruined...

After being miss sold a mortgage at a very vulnerable time in my life and paying 9.2% for 2 years I have found out that it will change to the lib rate in November with an additional 5% i will still be paying 6.2% on a large mortgage so my dreams of keeping my house are now in the bin.

I have a reposession order on my house after 2 years of hell i am giving up and losing the equity that i now still have left

    good luck:confused:

I'm very sorry to hear that you will be losing your home.
I've done a bit of research and contacted Redstone since I made that previous posting. It seems that my SVR will be the 3 month LIBOR + 2% - to be reviewed quarterly. At the moment, that looks likely to save me a bit of money as I'm coming to the end of 5.45% fixed. However, I don't expect the 3 month LIBOR to stay as low as this for too long. I could end up losing my home eventually but I'm going to give it my best shot to stay put. Hopefdully I can do it whilst repaying the full amount of my unsecured debts too as I am self-employed and am in the process of upping my income and reducing my outgoings still further..
