Call me stupid but does anyone know what costs are involved (fees deposits and so on) if someone defaults to a lenders SVR mortgage after a fixed rate deal ends?

If you're with that lender then there is no charge.0

No costs are involved when you go onto the SVR as you're simply carrying on your deal.0

Yup, happened to me last summer. No fees, nothing.. you just move onto the SVR. That was annoying when my SVR was 6.49% (but it was a calculated bet that the rates were going to plummet)0

Deleted cause my question doesn't really go with this thread. I really do apologise.0
