"The firm said it blamed Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) for its predicament because the bank would not extend credit to cover cash-flow problems."
"The current order book up to the beginning of March 2009 was £40m for the calendar year," a statement from Wrekin said.
"RBS said it had worked with the Wrekin Group to help them resolve their financial difficulties."
"We have given very careful consideration to their situation and regrettably concluded that the business was unsustainable due to the extent of creditor pressure," an RBS spokesman said.
How many BILLIONS have they had, and they still cannot do the basics of Banking?
Wonder how RBS would react if Taxpayers were to say "we regretably conclude that RBS is unsustainable"...?
Is this Fred's fault for engendering "we don't care" attitudes throughout the organisation, or the Govt's fault for not stiputlating how the bail-outs should be used...?
ps. One-eighth of Fred's pension pot would have saved these 600 jobs...
