Hi,
I made Jamie olivers choc tart, followed recipie but ended up with enough to make 2 tarts with filling and enough pastry to line another tart tin! Have baked 2 choc tarts, ate 1 but 1 still whole. Can I freeze it? Have the other raw pastry tart in the freezer, will this be ok to cook? Also any ideas what filling to put in it?
Thanks.

I'm sure the pastry will freeze OK so definitely freeze the unfilled one. I'm not sure what the filling is for the JO recipe so can't advise about freezing that I'm afraid.
For filling ideas why not splash out on a jar of caramel sauce, pour it in the baked tart shell and top with cream or drizzle with melted chocolate. Or melt some chocolate and fold in whipped cream then pour in the tart and chill. Can't think of anything healthy I'm afraid although you could put sliced bananas in before you pour on the sticky sweet stuff;)
How did the tuna on the plane work out btw?:D0 -
turned out work was goin to provide food, all be it vegan food, so didn't try to take tuna with me after all the 'helpful' advice I got!
I have bananas so make make something up!
