Hello everyone
You are all so helpful I have yet another request of help
Can anyone recommend a suitable Mens Hire Wear or store that we can buy something appropriate, I was going to look in Matalan at the weekend. He will also wear Gold waistcoat and Crava.
Nothing fancy needed just a dark suit, black blue or any suggestions greatly received, I don't have a clue, so that they match but don't cost a fortune.
OH is more interested in DIY at mo so I need to sort him out as well as myself.
Any suggestions really appricated.
You are a wonderful lot of MSE'ers :j :j :j

What's your budget sexylegs?
You can hire (including wasitcode and cravat) from stores on high street, including youngs (it's in suits you), moss brothers and debenhams.
All have websites that you can look at for ideas and I think you'd be paying between £55 - £75 depending on what package you wanted.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Thanks,
I'll have a look on the internet. Don't want to be spending a fortune for one day,0 -

debenhams are fab for hire, have used them many times and provided you avoid the jeff banks stuff very reasonable prices. They have many dark suits & gold waistcoats.

We hired from http://www.slaters.co.uk/en/ for my husband and son so they matched. We got morning suits, shirts, cravats, waistcoats, handkerchiefs, and £5 each accidential damage (invaluable I thought with our son being 6).
For all the above for both of them cost approx. £160, but this also includes any tailoring alterations you might need (my husband had his pants shortened). We chose Slaters over debenhams mostly because of the tailoring service as when we asked in debenhams they said you just get standard sizes.0 -
Thanks everyone,
I hadn't even thought of Debenhams for the hire of wedding suits, and it excellent if you get the waistcoats included as it was going to be costing me about 25-30 to buy them so its worth hiring the whole thing.
You are all wonderful people

Hi
I'm getting married in 10 days (gulp!) and have hired our suits from Debenhams. Cost us £80 per person including a £5 accidental damage waiver. This includes shirt, trousers, jacket, waistcoat, cravat or tie and shoes.
They also do children's sizes and our 14 month old is wearing the same suit as his Dady - going to look so cute!!
