I'm going to Glasgow later this month and staying at McLays Guest House...£32 per night (twin) and the cheapest I could find

just looked at that and the cheapest for 5 night is £300 and odd no single rooms or twins0

There was link the day before yesterday for Holiday Inn discounts. I booked 2 nights at a Holiday Inn Express in the center of Glasgow for 69 pounds. That's for both nights including breakfast.0

if you cant get the holiday discount mentioned above, then i would suggest either
sandyford hotel £55/night (west end area really nice rooms that have just been done up, quiet and nice breakfast, would highly recommend if you dont mind being a bit away from the shops)
premier inn charing cross £50/night if you get through late rooms (best for nightlife and eating)
premier inn george square £60/night (if you want to be right in the centre)
i find glasgow hotels to be a bit hit and miss, but all these hotels i have stayed in a few times, and all come up high on my list everytime.
hope that helps0 -
thanks it says The requested rate is not available.
Try different dates
or Show Available Rates
then shows me rooms that are £71

I haven't stayed there for a few years, but there are a couple of places at the Charing Cross end of Suachiehall Street which are okay - Premier Inn which is right on top of Charing Cross station (great views of the M8 too
) or The Sandyford Hotel, a bit further along but still walkable to the City Centre or West End.
Also as mentioned above, Holiday Inn Express 2-4-1 offer - just add the extra nights.
Enjoy - it's a great city!0
