Finding lost things easier on the floor

If you lose something on the floor, down the side of the sofa or literally anywhere and it's to little or hard to find, pop a leg of a tight over the hose of your hoover and hey presto it's easier to find. Especially with things like little screws out of your glasses!!

Actually scruffy that's not a bad little post there, I did know about that but as per usual assume that because I know it everyone else must do to. I must stop thinking I am so dim that I have nothing new to contribute.

Can also use a magnet for metal things. This comes from OH regularly dropping tiny pieces of hardware on the floor when making the dollshouse furniture!

Good tip. My mother uses it when she loses a contact lense somewhere (especially when she forgets to take them out at night and loses one in bed - its not easy finding it on a white sheet with sight in only one eye).
