dont mean to be rude or start an arguement, but i think thats a bit out of order, my partner left me 3 days after my son was born, prematurely after myself actually dying in labour, and due to complications during my emergency section, im unable to work and do receive benefits in order to live! i have got a degree and a masters in microbiology, and would go back to work tomorow if i could make it 50 yards outside my "free house" if i wasnt doubled over in agony!!!!0 -

Alternatively, it may actually offer the children of families on low incomes (that doesn't just mean people on income support, it also includes those who actually do work and simply claim child tax credit) more opportunities and a better start academically than they otherwise would have.0 -
