I wanna... Shure E2Cs earphones

I have read very good reviews of Shure earphones and fancy treating myself, especially considering how loud I need the volume to drown out the noise of the underground.

Anyone seen any great bargains/disounts vouchers etc?

Or, has anyone got any great advice on a better pair for a similar price?

Don't know about Shure, bit to expensive for me, but have you considered the Sennheiser, excellent make/reputation and sound quality.

I am looking the Sennheiser cx300 as well - would like a pair of Shure 'phones but can't justify the price.

I have found the Sennheiser's for £31.95 at https://www.discountdiscs.co.uk including postage. Has anyone found them any cheaper elsewhere?

I have a pair of the Shure e5c's. They're not cheap (RRP c.£400) but sound awesome! The bass response isn't the best it could be, but I'm hoping to get some custom ear moulds made to fix that soon.
I'm a sound engineer and often use them for work - they cut out background noise very effectively so you should have no trouble using the e2c's on the underground.

Sennheiser are generally good, although I've not tried and of their earbuds so can't comment.

Cheapest I've seen the e2c's is at XLShop - £52.99 plus £1.99 p&p, but go through Quidco to get 6% off = £51.80 if my math is correct.
A couple of my friends also have the Shure e3c's and are very pleased with them.

Etymotic Research also do some nice earphones. Similar prices to Shure I think, maybe a bit cheaper.
