submit only worked when I took my breakdown story out :( Took me 5 minutes to write so here it is !!

Worst breakdown, driving a newish Ford Scorpio, a few weeks out of Warranty in deepest darkest Cornwall on a Sunday afternoon. There we were, on holiday, with the kids in the back and suddenly the engine cuts out, luckily for the now non-functional power steering, on a straightish country road with no traffic. Called out the RAC man, he scratched his head and eventually we decided that he would transport it to the nearest Ford garage and phone them the next day to ask them to take a look at it. Look at it they did TWO WEEKS later. The Timing Chain had snapped. Cost of repais £2000 !!!. I rang up Ford Customer Service , yelled at them for a bit, on the basis that the car had only done 17,000 miles and we got the bill reduced to £1000.
