    I am almost sure Bernanke was quoted as saying that America should see recovery in 2009/10. :confused: I will go and check and come back.

    I really want to believe, really I do. But. I'd rather take a prediction from someone who saw the current problems coming, than someone who was partly responsible for them and presumably didn't see them coming.

    I heard Vince Cable on Radio 4 this morning who echoed the opinion that a good bit of trampolining, equestrian and modern pentathlon will sort out the complex global economic issues we're seeing at the moment.
