Primark double `bed bundle`

I have just been into Primark and bought this bed bundle. It includes a 10.5 tog duvet, a mattress protector,2 pillows and 2 pillow protectors. It is double size.Cost £3.00 reduced from £10.00.I don`t know if this was just in my local store, or in all.The store I got mine from was Southend-on-sea, and they only had double size.

  • Thanks for that flutterbymum, shame they didn't have king-size as my local primark is southend too.

That's a good price. Another one from Southend here although I don't need one. Great find though.

Hope this is in my local store at Preston - both sons are off to uni (hopefully) in September and it would be great to get their bedding sorted out so cheaply. I am going on Sunday so I hope the offer is on!

Just before you rush out and buy these; if they'll be living in Halls in the first year, they probably won't need their own duvets or pillows as they will be supplied. Some Universities actually have rules against bringing your own (fire regs reasons). They'd obviously need their own when they move out of halls, so still a good buy if you've got somewhere to store them.

My son wasn't in the uni's halls but privately run halls for his first year at uclan - preston, he had to take a quilt and bedding, though the double quilt he took want any use as it was a single bed built againt the wall. It's best to check first.
I got him loads of kitchen equipment that wasn't needed as all supplied!

When I was in halls we had to provide our own bedding...
