Proof reading work form home

Afternoon all

My friend is a fantastic proof reader but she is also agoraphobic so wants to do it from home.

She has a laptop with e-mail and internet access. Does anyone know of any good, reputable proof reading companies/jobs out there?:o

    Unfortunately, there aren't many freelance proof reading jobs around. For a few bits of work, she may find things on elance.com and getafreelancer.com, but they are poorly paid.
  • Does she have proofreading experience? It's very hard to get freelance proofreading work without previous in-house experience or contacts, in my experience. Get your friend to take a look at this site for an idea of training, how to find work, rates of pay etc:
