Well this horse did not win with Ladbrokes voucher in the Sun but I had £2 from the Mirror on the winner of the 2.05pm at 9-1. So £18 win plus stake is £20 retrun:j

Sorry to ask a question about MOCs from a few days ago, but I can't find the ones sillymeeee said are in Saturday, 7th March's Daily Telegraph.

Included in the supplements with todays Telegraph is a Lonley Plant supplemet. On the back it has 2 NSS MOC;

2 x £1 MOC exp 18.4.09

In another of the supplements (smallest one) are 2 NSS MOC

4op off Splenda exp 30.5.09
3op off Happy Eggs exp31.10.09

I've looked at everything that came with the copy of the main paper, but can't find any Lonely Planet (Plant?) supplement or one with the other two coupons.

Could the supplements have been specific to a region of the country? I'm in the North East, so if they were, I'm not surprised they were absent. We're viewed as Neanderthals, up here.

Usually with this type of bet you don't get the "stake" back because there really wasn't one, or if there was William Hill give it back to themselves since they provided it.

Wondered if they accepted it with perhaps just your name on it - claiming you didn't have a mobile phone or an email address ? Afterall you don't really want to be "spammed" with texts or emails - do we ?

The only reason I ask is that this same £2 free bet offer in the Mirror is on for the next 3 days - whilst the Cheltenham Festival is on - namely until Friday !

It's just that I've looked on williamhill.com for locations of shops and there are EIGHT within about 1 and 1/2 miles of where I live.
About a 5 mile round trip to visit ALL 8.

Find a race with 8 runners (or pick the race with the least and pick the top 8 runners) , 8 papers = 8 coupons = 8 shops = 8 horses = CAN'T LOSE !!!!

I didn't but my dad did, he did put his name on it but no other details and they did accept it, however he is a regular customer there.

Yes but unless you can get the papers for free then you have to buy 8 Daily Mirrors @ 45p each = £3.60, so you have got to hope the horse that wins has odds of 4 to 1 or more to make a profit (depending on the amount of the free bet)

Thanks quoia I think you may be correct but have not collected winnings yet. In answer to your other question I only put name as did not wish to be spammed.

Good idea about covering all horses especially if papers purchased with MOCS;)

Only problem is if favourite wins ate 2/1 a lot of work of small reward. However if an outsider romps in - happy days:T
