Mmm, law degree, brilliant foundation for loads and loads of jobs. Evidence of ability to absorb and unpick complex arguments and issues, close attention to detail, understanding of legal processes from criminal to contract law, ethics, human rights and so on. Great background for someone planning to start up and run a business too. You're on the way, especially as you're now sorting out the debts and generally getting your act together.
I was paid loads because I give great spin and stroke, in case you are wondering.;)

I don't know what that means but my mind is in the gutter so I hope it doesn't mean something along those lines- please elaborate!!

Another thing to consider - is it an option to switch to another course within the university? At the end of my second year at uni, I switched from architecture to materials science. I was lucky, because I'd been awarded a grant for five years for the architecture, so I still had enough left for the new degree course. It is probably not practical for you, but something to think about maybe.

Or if you want to work with kids, how about some kind of vocational course, maybe teaching or early years education. If you want to run a nursery, say, something like that could be very important.

Perish the thought! Never heard of spin doctors or ego stroking before?? :D

Not really an option since I only have 6 weeks to go but I have looked into courses that I could do starting in September. Hopefully I could get into a part time course so that I could work at the same time or get some relevant work experience

Joined up to dooyoo today and I'm going to try and write 4 reviews every day- hopefully will stick to this and if I get into the swing of things I may get through a few more each day

Also saw on another thread about having a spends purse so I got my old purse out and I'm going to put £10 in every Wednesday when I get paid and then the rest goes straight into the bank. Don't know if it will work but have to try something. Did my own SOA today and was actually underestimating my debt- thought my two CCs were around £800 but as you can see from the sig its actually closer to £1000 :(

Also had great news yesterday- car was up for MOT and was going to get a mechanic to look at it first but my dad said to put it through and then when (not if) it failed they would tell me exactly what was wrong and a mechanic couldn't rip me off

Well it passed!! He told me that one of my tyres was only just legal and it was 2 roundabouts away from being penalty points so I'm going to replace it tomorrow and that's all I will have to pay! Love my little 10 year old motor! My OH was disgusted that it passed as he drives a swanky car and thought my little banger was going to be consigned to the scrap heap. He is now convinced that something went on in the test hall when the shutter came down :rotfl: :rotfl:

Another payday another bill needing paid!
Whacked £80 at the barclaycard this week as I am not going out this weekend- OH is going to watch rugby all day and wants me to meet him after work but know for a fact that he will be in no fit state to go anywhere! And in the unlikely event that he does want to stay out he'll hopefully be drunk enough for me to take advantage of his generous nature :rotfl:

    I really do sound awful!

Picking my dad up tonight which is the second time in a week! Need fuel so will wait til the way home and he might offer to put some in! I really think my debts would be so much worse if I wasn't able to play the men in my life so well

:mad:Ahhhhh awful day today! On plus side lost 2lbs at weight watchers so only a tiny little half pound to go and I'm at my goal. On the downside I celebrated my new found slimness by buying two dresses and three tops and put the two dresses on a CC! This is definitely the worst bit about losing weight- none of my nice old stuff fits anymore and I'm broke!

But the dresses are lovely and are for my birthday and my OH sister's birthday celebrations so at least I'll look fab at the parties:rolleyes:
