SRJ Debt Recovery again !

I am disputing a debt with the above collectors.
They ignored details of my dispute by telephone, so after advice on here I wrote them a letter (recorded delivery) detailing the dispute and also quoting the OFT that they were using unfair business practice by not looking at the dispute.
Well today I received a letter saying that unless I pay a reduced settlement figure within 7 days that they will start with litigation.
What do I do now, report to the oft or continue to write to them? Help!

What reason is the account in dispute?Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.
All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional0 -
The details of the dispute are that firstly, the amount is for a cancellation fee from TalkTalk. I had signed up for line rental and free broadband. After a month or so of not being able to get internet connection and being told it was various technical difficulties, they admitted that they did not yet provide free broadband in my area. They therefore were in breach of contract and so I cancelled. I am not liable for the cancellation fee as they were the ones who could not fulfil the contract.
Thats part of my letter0 -
If you have a paper trail for your original complaint, forward it to SRJ and inform them the account remains in dispute and any litigation will be stronly defended and a counterclaim will be issued for anytime you spend defending the litigation.

I don't have any paper trail for anything other than one letter I have sent.
I will send a further letter along those lines though.0 -
