My money saving deed of the day

I have today been onto BT and cancelled my calling features which cost around £7 a month on the land line. I have also changed my option from unlimited weekend calls to unlimited evening and weekend calls for no extra cost a month. My new bill is due in on the 11th so I should save £7 this quarter and a further £3+ in future bills. So we have gone from £30 a month to £23 to hopefully around £20 - a month.
Really pleased with myself and considering I dont use a mobile much and have not topped that up in the past 2 or 3 months, I dont think my land line bill is bad at all. It is used for business as well as personal.

Well done you, it's all these little things that make a difference, and things that before we just couldn't be bothered doing, so well done.

Thanks, yes I find we just leave these things without realising that doing this will help in the long run. Don't know how to cut my other costs as my contents and car insurance are at the cheapest possible. I cant take off things like legal protection or raise the excess, because we just couldn't afford to pay it if the worst happened.0

I often say that if I knew then, what I know now, we would not have any debts and probably lots of savings. I am now the queen of getting things reduced, half price or free and cashback sites. We live and learn don't we
