I agree, it's a big shame.
Last.fm has videos, though I haven't checked them out yet. No adverts, and free. It's a brilliant site for music lovers, and well worth exploring.

Thankyou PRS ........ if they lose this source of income no doubt they'll be out looking for people listening to a radio at work (more).0

P.s. hit that little box on the bottom right of the video screen on Last.fm, and you will get full screen footage. click anywhere on the screen/ press esc to change back.

Clever :T0 -
Another site similar to LastFm is We7, easier to use than Last FM, and no sign up required, you can listen to most songs free online, and with some you can download with a short audio advert at the beginning, all for free.

you register and download a widget to your PC which then allows you to listen to music streamed free over the internet. Some artists are not available due to licensing issues, but i've never struggled to find something to listen to. the only small 'snag' is that you have to listen to an advert once every 20 minutes or so, althlough you can pay for a premium account which is ad-free should you wish
I'll second this. Spotify is fantastic. Legal, clear and a fantastic choice of music.

Finetune is also good, but with less flexibility.

Well Youtube used to have a few videos that Thailand found offensive to their monarchy so they blocked the whole site for months till Youtube took down the offending vids. So UK is not having a total bum wrap, i'm sure it will be back up later when the legal details have been ironed out.Survey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740 -
Hope so ... only noticed this evening that last.fm, and presumably loads of other similar sites, use YouTube as a source for videos. Fingers crossed.0
