They have to be cool washed as the colour fades very quickly
Will this simply wash out or does anyone please have any ideas to remove it?

I think that PVA glue is water soluble try scraping off as much as you can, then put it in a 50 degree wash add some soda crystals to the washing powder.
I know that paint can be removed by rubbing with washing up liquid and sugar you could try that first and see if it helps.
School jumpers are so overpriced it is heartbreaking when this happens.Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

hope you have not done the 50 degree wash yet !
I work in a school and always get this on me in art sessions. The best way is to scrape off the worst then do a cold rinse before washing on the lowest temperature.HTH0 -

No effective way really. If you can get to it while it's still wet water will do it. Too late for that though. This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0

Can you test a wee bit with acetone free nail varnish remover. Just put a small amount on a clean cloth and dab off.0

I have a similar problem with black marker pens that doesnt come out of school shirts!
I was told carbon tetrachloride - which is dry cleaning fluid from the Chemist and removes most things?
I haven't tried it yet, so cannot confirm it works - but you may ask in yr chemist if it would work on yr glue?

PVA will reabsorb water and return to it's original state so it just needed soaking and rubbing, but you found that out anyway. If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0

if it happens again
plunge it into cold water
as cold as your hands can stand
ice in it if you can
PVA dissolves in cold water
thats why fishermen have little bags made out of it
they have the bags filled with groundbait
on the end of their rod
it deposits the bait where their hook is to entice the fish
the bag melts in the water, leaving only the bait:)
