While i was out this afternoon my daughter decided to cook a "simple" sponge cake, she used 3 eggs!!
The layers are about 1/2 cm thick stuck together with jam but when i cut a slice it isn't cooked through and inedible.
i don't want to throw it away, can i put it back in the oven with the jam and sort of make it into a spnge pudding???
Any suggestions?

No idea if this would work, but I'd undo the layers, scrape off as much of the jam as possible, then bake it in a low oven to dry it out. If nothing else, you'll probably end up with something that's suitable for trifle sponges.0

You could have it as a pudding with custard.
Also have you tried putting it in the microwave for a minute or two? You can cook a jam pudding in there in a matter of minutes.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........

I would zap it in the microwave in short bursts and have it with custard..just watch out for the jam getting too hot and burning its self or you .....-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50
