Calling for Photographer advice / opinions please

We are getting married on 24th April, and further to some major discussion over photography (h2b is a keen photographer...) we have asked a couple of local photographers to quote based on the following...
  • We would like someone to be able to take photographs of the pre-ceremony, register signing & post-ceremony at the registry office
    • Potentially (cost depending), we would like some further photographs at the start of our reception, 8 miles from the registry office.
We would like the images to be taken in a RAW format (ideally)
  • We would like all shots to be made available to us in an electronic format (CD / Memory Stick etc) for us to do as we wish.
  • We don’t need an album, or prints.
We are fully aware that we are looking for something quite specific - we are looking for the best possible quality digital images, and the best value for money we can get.

What sort of quotes should I be looking for?

Thanks
Sx

I am looking for exactly the same thing and have quotes for between £500 and £600 for a photographer and assistant for pre-ceremony, ceremony, reception photos and start of wedding breakfast so from approx. 11am in the morning until about 4/5pm at night.

The costs quoted are cheaper because there is no editing/albums required.
