yeah thanks, i'll phone the prince's trust tomorrow about a development grant to pay for the next level of my coaching.

Im sorry but how about paying for it yourself?
Your on the dole now yet your saying "You can only get jobs at shops". Well what is wrong with that for now?

I would advise get a job at a shop but then go out on the weekends and get some experience.

Lads and dads teams would welcome your voluntary help and something like that could get your name known in those leagues.

To get somewhere in these sort of positions you need to start right at the bottom, be prepared to give time and effort for no money whilst earning a living doing whatever you can during the week.

Have you tried going along to community centres to try and see if there are volunteer coaching jobs there? I know you need money but volunteering is one of the easiest ways to the get experience needed to get paying jobs.

The Easter holidays will be coming up soon, you could always ask at your local community/leisure centre if you would be able to advertise to hold a football school during the holidays. You would have enough time to arrange sign up sheets, figure out if there is interest (if enough interest you could try to charge), etc.

i know it's not coaching, but a few of my friends work at a local 5-a-side centre as referees. It may be worth enquiring as there will probably be contacts there who will know routes to get into coaching

My fiance and his brother manage a boys football team - have you thought about doing this? They have coaching badges through doing this. You should approach a local children's / adult's football team and ask to coach them, they are usually Saturdays or Sundays.

I also recommend doing the ones in the USA as previously mentioned.

I think you should get a part time job of say 8 hours a week or the minimum you can find, try shops eg hmv, whsmiths or supermarkets, coffe shops and find some voluntary work with a football team
