hi to all members. i started work on february 23rd and obviously will not surpass the personal tax allowance of £6,035.00 for this tax year. as a result of this will i receive my first month's salary, due 20th march, without tax taken out? or will it have already been taken out and i would have to claim it back once the next tax year starts after april 5th? i take it that i will obviously receive the new tax allowance of £6,475.00 as of the new forthcominmg tax year?
many thanks.
