The crock pot in my SC has got a line of food residue "baked" on the inside. I can't budge it with a scourer, how can I get rid of it please?
TIA

Try sprinkling a little bio washing up powder in it then filling with boiling water as near to the top as you need to get to cover the residue.
Leave for at least a couple of hours, then scrub with non stick scourer and then rinse the crock pot like mad several times."This site is addictive!"

Thanks Elona, will give that a go.0

Try a combination of salt and bicarb of soda with boiling water. It will fizz a bit from the chemical reaction. Leave to soak or put it back into the crock pot on low for a few hours.0
