We are in the process of buying a home (255k deposit on a 418k house) fairly fresh into it all as the vendors only supplied the solicitors details to my solicitor friday. We have applied to the chelsea BS for a 5 yr fixed deal (which was 4.29% when we applied) however I have yet to get the paperwork from them so i hope it shows 4.29%!! However saying that the abbey deal looks good although will have to work out how much that will save me on my monthly pay, although saying that i'm not sure i want to go through the whole process again.

Edit, worked the figures out and that saves me about £43 a month with going with the abbey. Problem is if i switch now I have already had two banks to credit checks on me and then i switch to another lender because of the deals coming out any more and they are going to start wondering what i'm up to.
Listen to what people say, but watch what people what people do!!
