I have recently been advised by Cabot Financial (Europe) Ltd that they have bought my debts from EGG.
Enclosed with Cabot's notification was a letter from Egg (supposedly) advising me of the transfer, however, the letter was signed "Cahoot" Abbey National plc. so obviously the letter originated from Cabot and not EGG

Before I contact Cabot, is there anybody outthere with experience of this company.

I am dealing with these idiots at the moment; they are claiming that I owe to a card over 6 years ago; which i know I paid off - they contacting me in 2006 and I heard nothing more, then Nov 08 they started bombarding me with loads of calls, in one day I recieved 17 calls, I then told them I had reported to the police for harrasment, I then sent them a letter in December asking for proof of the debt and gave them 12 days to supply the information - two months later they acknowledged the letter saying they would get me the information, then 12 days later saying that they were having trouble finding the information. I have now written back telling the to discharge the debt as they have failed to give me the correct information and that they are now in breech.

They are complete doughnuts and there maladministration should be reported everytime.
