Mechanics/Garage for Service in East/South Belfast/Dundonald

Hi Everyone, done a bit of searching of the forum so far and the only garage I can find recommended in my area is AVA Garages on the Ormeau road.

Haven't tried them to see if they can fit me in but just wondering if anyone can recommend any other good value/reliable place for an annual service + couple of fault fixes (new headlight glass/bulb + rear wheel bearing replacement - that i'm aware of) and MOT prep.
It's a 93-00 Vauxhall Corsa (if that has any influence) - used a crowd near ballyhackamore and had no issues myself however recommended them to my brother in law and he had a bit of a nightmare.

Always so hard to know where to go to get the most consistant service, I suppose in a mechanics favour cars are becoming more and more nightmarish to deal with. Especially with the new regs potentially coming in which could wipe out independant/third party parts/servicing.

If anyone can recommend somewhere in the East/South Belfast or Dundonald Area it would be greatly appreciated! Got my MOT in a week and a half so better get my finger out!

The Vauxhall dealer in Comber Middletons has shut the main Vauxhall garage but is in the process of setting up on his tod. I've always found them very trustworthy.

I use Kerbside Motors on the Lisburn Rd beside the City Hospital - owner is a guy called Mark and is a decent chap - has always been very helpful and reasonable with me - may be a bit further than you wanted to travel though.

I'm bumping this thread as I need to find a garage to prepare my Ford Focus for it's MOT next week.

I tried phoning Nigel McFarland but didn't get an answer. Does anyone know if he's open this week?

If I can't get Nigel, can anyone else recommend a good and reasonably priced garage in East Belfast that might be able to fit me in before next Thursday (that isn't Lindsay Ford)?!

Used them a couple of times myself, seemed dead on, father in law used them, brother in law had a bit of bother but could've just been bad luck with his car (strange electric problems and stuff).

Not sure if they are open or not this week, still hard to be sure just how long these places take off for the "12th!".
