I just want to ensure its worded correctly so it has an effect as such.

Thanks muchly.

I assume your car in on hire purchase? Do you want to hand the car back? How much have you paid back - have you checked the original agreement to see whether there will be any more money to pay if you do hand over the keys at this pont?

If you are in a situation where you can't afford your car, I assume that you have other money troubles as well - why not start by completing an SOA (a budget - there is a template on the makesenseofcards website). Then you could post it here for feedback (if you are feeling brave) and do the debt remedy on the CCCS website. All of that might focus your mind, and you will be clearer about whether handing back the car is the right thing to do.
