Payment breaks?

I may be being alittle optimistic here, but does anyone know if it is possible to take payment breaks from loans?
The reason I am asking is that I am due to go on maternity leave in two months and any short term reduction in our monthly outgoings would help us to increase the amount of time I get to spent at home unpaid with our new little one.

Nice to save.

Some you can, some you cant.
Dig your paperwork out or give them a ring.
Make sure they dont charge you for having a break though.Debt at highest £16k+
