Hi I posted on here a few weeks ago and got a lot of help and advice, unfortunately nothing much has changed and we've both had enough. Have decided to shame Barclays, who are reposessing our house on Tuesday, because they won't wait any longer for the ombudsman to make a desision on my case aginst them???. So me and disabled hubby are gonna barricade ourselves in and take siege till someone listens and finally sorts this. Fully intend to publicise the fact and poss get a webcam going, its a bit spur of the moment but we have been fighting Barclays so long now enough any ideas or comments apprieciated. this is the most excited we have felt in years LOL:T

Hi I have nothing to add other than good luck and I hope that it brings you the success you want. Have you thought of perhaps asking for another stay of execution so to speak, or contact the Ombudsman and explain that the delay means you are gonna lose your house?? Have you tried the local paper? Or even the Sun or someone?
Everyone hates banks right now. The headline, 'Bank Forces Disabled Man On To Streets' is bound to raise some interest.

Good Luck - have you told the bank that you are going to do this? It may make them think twice. Agree with Lennie and SS, contact ombudsman and tabloids! LB 22/2/09 Debt at LB £46216.64 Debt now £42657.28 Paid off £3559.36/£46216.64 (7%)CTax arrears paid £1341.72/£4821.85 (£3480.13) 28%:eek:Pay off £15K by Xmas '09 £3559.36/£15000 24%£1000 in 100 days £45/£10000

good luck but surely they will just get the police to evict you?
And I am curious what the ombudsman would rule, that would allow you to keep your house, if you are in arrears with your mortgage?
but good luck anyway
robjakI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
