Morning all, i'm in this week.

Happy Birthday Flower :j
Good luck with the funding Soappie, hope you get it.
Need to go and do my dishes then get ready to take DD to hospital.
Will do as much of the list as i can but i've knacked my shoulder:mad: Have a couple of magnets on it which is helping but its really stiff and sore. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Hey strangers! I'm going to be around this week, but not really posting much, as that's where I get overwhelmed - if I have the PC on all day, I end up on it, and not doing what I should be, then I get behind, blah, blah, blah, repeat to fade.
I had an Ann Summers party on Sat night, so the living room, kitchen, and everywhere except mine & my eldest's bedrooms look fab at the mo, so if I try my hardest now, I should be able to keep on top of it (now where have I heard that before?)
Hope everyone's had a fab weekend, and has a great flying week!

Happy Birthday Flower!!!
GnB - lots of positive thoughts and prayers heading your way for LO and the whole family
ZCC72 - with all those qualifications you need to aim high. They're going to put people off if you're going for jobs where they aren't needed. I know I'd be concerned that a. you'd be bored and b. you might not be happy with the pay, so either way you'd be off quickly. You'd certainly need to have a pretty convincing explanation as to why you wanted to take a less demanding role. I don't know what your knowledge of commercial law is like, but purchasing/procurement might be a good option. I've just sent my latest grad (a lawyer) off in that direction, and legal knowledge always comes in handy. There's also a lot of M&A work available right nowwhere property law may well come in handy. Hex is our resident HR specialist, but if you want to chat feel free to PM me.
AnW's mum - thanks for the ISA advice... I'd forgotten about moving them all into one. It would make it much easier to keep track of them all. My dad seems to think there's no point in an ISA this year as rates are so low, but if I move with my usual speed I won't be spending it anytime soon! The trouble is, once I have savings I like keeping them there. I'm not very keen on spending the money on the things I've been saving for
No chance of flying today, as although I'm working from home, my dad will be busy in the utility room. I have a few bits and pieces to sort out that are VERY overdue, and then need to prepare for tomorrow as I'm assessing grads at an all day assessment centre and as I haven't done one for ages I need to read the exercises/interview guide as well as the CVs!0 -
Thanks pigpen for the list sorry you had a bad time.
I am in again this week and have just loaded dw with breakfast pots. Have to get ds ready off to school and then me off to work so i will be flying from 2:30 onwards if anyone wants a HHC:D

morning all :hello:
Flylady-Flower -Happy Birthday! :bdaycake:
I'm going to attempt to fly this week... simply because I can now move in my livingroom without falling over laundry!:rotfl: A few hotspots are starting to appear again as well, so I think I'll set DD too on the shredding pile (still stuff in there from when Ex lived here :o ) and try to sort out turbolister so I can get some stuff sorted on ebay. BUT my priority is getting my NVQ work done so I'm going into school today to sit in the staffroom or at least find somewhere I can hide in there .... I get too easily distracted by food and housework when I'm at home...

I'm in! Just catching up with the old thread and this one!
FFPrincess: DO NOT pay your ebay seller via another email address. There was something on Watchdog about this a few months ago - it's a scam. You won't be covered by Paypal if they don't send your item and Ebay won't help you as you didn't pay by their recommended way of paying.
The boiler repair man has been and gone (after a jump start! I could hear him trying to start his van it was making pathetic little noises, so gave him a jump! He was really surprised!), so the big wash up will commence at 9am sharp!
Going to have brekkie, (will have to wash up a bowl and spoon first!) and catch up with you all and then get on. Hope all are well this morning, it's lovely out there today"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."
