Great news G&B
glad it went well for your DD.
Sending hugs to you Jill, sounds like you are having a tough time. Remember one step at a time, things will get sorted believe in yourself. Don't worry about having to keep up with the thread, keep posting so we can be here to listen and give moral support, we all need support so don't apologise.
We went out to the shoe shop after school, Miss A said her plimsolls were too small. Came back with plimsolls and new school shoes for her, W's shoes still have growing room left.
Also called into Sainsbugs for a few bits, bought a red nose for the kids and one for the car. When we got home the car one would not stickneighbour came and said 'that's cause the bonnet is plastic' checked round the rest and found the boot is plastic too!!!!!!!!! So we have a red nose on the side of the car :rotfl:

Thanks everyone.
AnW I am chuckling at the thought of your car with a red nose on the side, maybe you should get another one for the other side so at least you are symmetricalJan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

Made it - 15 years married!! Finally!! xx:beer:0 -
It has just take me well over an hour to catch up as had an early night last night and a busy day today.
I have not done any flying today apart from when i had a shower i cleaned the wall and bath so just got the rest to do tomorrow.
Got a meeting at work tomorrow to let us know if we have to carry on on a three day week or if we have more redundancies so will feel better when i know the outcome of that.
ZCC72 Thank you for the bannoffee pie recipie i love recipies especially the easy ones
Rosepink Hope you feeling a little happier now.
Valli You would be very welcome to come for a coffee
JillD I know when you are not happy your children will pick up on this and play on it. You need to talk to your oh as he is slowly changing his body clock to be awake at night and sleep during the day.
Try spending a min of 10 minutes playing with the kiddies per day (that means something they want to do for example craft, baking , play dough, cars, reading, drawing anything the kids want to do. Turn off the tv so there are no distractions . Give them lots of positive praise and ignore the little negative things. Sounds alot to do but you will see an improvment as they know they have your attention. A regular play 10 mins every day is enough for your kids to know they are going to get time with you. Kids don't care if they get attention for positive or negative behaviour they just want the attention and usually negative will get the attention every time but hwen they are being good positive behaviour sometimes goes unpraised.
and last but not least
I am very new to this thread but i have read every post for the last two weeks.
Toots You are there to welcome us all. Your friendly words show us you care and i would just like to say, with your positive attitude towards your treatment and with the kind words and support on here the next few months will fly by (pardon the pun).
If we can do anything for you or your family or would just like to get things off your chest, i think i can speak for everyone that we are here for you xx
To everyone else i hope relationships are healed and that everyone who s ill or had ops are making a speedy recovery.
Sorry for the long post:beer: Officially Debt Free Nov 2012 :beer:0 -
