    Successful trip out.

Managed to get Nan's kettle and used the Argos giftcard which had got fluffy in my card towards.:money:
Found a new washing basket the right size to fit in the allocated gap to replace the one which has fallen to bits.
Got a zip to replace the one in DS sleeping bag :money:

Going to find my list and see what I can do in the time until the orthodentist.

On a good note, I got an e-mail from the Head of Initial Teacher Training at Uni, saying that I presented a convincing argument as to why I should have a place.

    Ok, so I begged. :D

She suggested that I apply formally, and that I would have the opportunity to convince them further at interview! So, there is hope....

Off for HHK with !!!!!! now, flying afterwards -

Have just had a quick read through some of the thread while I ate lunch and it seems like there are al lot of you having a tough time at the moment
Toots - I don't know you but this seems to sum up what I have seen on here - you are always there with help and encouragement for us all - now you need to look after yourself and concentrate on getting well again
You are the most selfless person I have ever met
I wont be giving you any Kicks up the bum Just encouraging words, that you have been so generous with, to us all!!!!
    Your amazing toots xoxox

GnB- Hope today goes well for DD

    Emily
By the way, I don't know if anyone saw my thread earlier about my oven but only one person replied so I'll ask again. I've got an 18 month old oven which, despite being cleaned 3 times with Mr Muscle, is smoking.
Do you have an oven with the grill element at the top? My oven used to smoke a lot especially if i had cooked something fatty like a roast. In my book it advised you to turn the oven up to it's highest setting and burn the fat off! It did work a treat but if you do it make sure it's a day when you can open all the windows because it gets very smoky:D

Mr and Mrs philb - hope things improve for your wife at work and that life starts to treat you a bit more kindly soon - it sounds as if you are being really supportive and sometimes only a cuddle will do!

Am sure there are loads I have missed but got to get the terrors now so a big hug.gif for anyone else who needs/wants one.
Back soon, better do something useful when I get back :D
