Hey everyone,
First post here on MSE, so I'm obviously new to the community
. Looks and feels like a great place to hang out. Here's my 5 second intro:
My name is Donny, from Vancouver, Canada. Am self employed as a web-entrepreneur, and saving money is very much a part of my every day life.
Anyways, here's the quick question I'm meaning to ask.
I got in touch with an interesting guy with a unique backstory on budgeting & saving money.
Just wondering if I were to partner with this guy and put together an affordable course on saving money and budgeting, would you consider buying it? (Assuming it was very high-quality, and I could somehow prove it to you)
Appreciated
. Let me know if it would be a total waste of time or no.
Thanks,
Donny

Not the Donny from Vancouver?
Fella, look around. There is 100's of books worth of information on saving money here and it's completely free. If anyone needs anything, they post and get replies.
No-one who uses this site is going to pay for something they can get for free.

You are addressing a group of people who by default are likely to be used to saving money, and you are addressing them on the very site where all of them will be used to getting advice on saving money for free. Forgive me for thinking that you should have been able to predict the outcome of this thread.kinkarso wrote:Just wondering if I were to partner with this guy and put together an affordable course on saving money and budgeting, would you consider buying it?"MIND IF I USE YOUR PHONE? IF the op is genuine (????) why would people on a site mostly based in the UK be interested in a course written by someone in Canada. Surely you would sell your course to those in your own country, many tips are country specific.

Saving money and cutting back your spending is remarkably easy (although obviously getting OUT of debt isn't so easy).
So I have to ask.... if people paid for such a course would it consist of the tutor saying "rule 1: stop spending money on stuff like this!" and then leaving the room?0 -
Not only does this site provide money saving tips,it also provides ways to make extra money on top.I fail to see how you can better this let alone believe you can charge for it.Life is short, smile while you still have teeth

Paying money to learn how to save money seems like kind of a contradiction.0
