Child Benefit/Child Tax credit as assessable income?

Hi,

My partner is on cs1 and having a review.

We have a 3 year old together and a baby due soon.

Do they take our child benefit and child tax credit into consideration as assessable income? We only get the basic government entitlement.

Also as I don't work do they allow the full personal allowance for our children as I can not contribute towards them?

Many thanks.

NO they don't count tax credits as assessable income under CS1.

If you don't work, then full child allowances are given,

Thanks ... You are a star!

Giving myself sleepless nights worrying about every little thing ..... finally think I have it sorted but lets wait and see if they agree.
