Tesco £10 off voucher refused

On Friday I was sent an email by Tesco with a £10 ecoupon valid until 26th Feb providing I spent £50. They do this from time to time and I tend to wait for the email before shopping online. Today I made up an order of just over £50, but when I put in the code I got a message saying enough people had already used this code. :mad:

Luckily I had another voucher (for only £5) which I used instead, but I thought it was really bad to send a promotion out personally to customers only to refuse to honour it 2 days later. I sent them an email complaining, so hopefully they will refund the difference!

If you had the code personally send a copy to customer services & complain you might get it off as well as the £5 one. If no joy write to the chairman always gets me a result!

Thanks, did get this in a personal email ("we haven't seen you for a while..."), so I replied to the email when I complained. Both of the vouchers started with XX and you can only use one of those at a time so I doubt if they will give me both.

If they won't do anything I will certainly try your suggestion of writing to the chairman, and I may just include the similar offer sent to me the same day by ASDA!
