Shall i mend wedding dress

I was going to sell my wedding dress on after i wore it as it was a hollywood dreams dress which was very expensive but unfortunately someone stood on the back of the dress and it has ripped it. It has only ripped the top layer which is chiffon but i don't know if it is worth paying to fix it if it won't then sell. The dress cost over £2000 new and i would like something back if possible as it would only be left in a box in the loft if not. It is a stunning dress and would be such a waste. Does anyone have any idea how much it would cost to repair? or do you think i could sell it anyway even with the rip?

have a look about and get an estimate from places to see how much it would cost, or even a friend or family member that is good with things like that. If it is very expensive to mend just sell it as damaged and whoever buys it will have to mend it otherwise it'll cost you loads and you wont get much profit!0
