I've been into Gosforth Asda today, they are doing the usual 4 pint bottle of milk for £1.53 but I noticed on the shelving above the metal crates they have the milk in that they've got an alternative 'less than 2%' milk - it's basically the same milk in different packaging but for 96p (I think I've remembered those prices right). I couldn't spot the difference between the two other than the packaging. Anyone else seen this or know the difference?

they've currently got the Frijj chilled milkshakes (vanilla, strawberry, banana or chocolate) at 46p each instead of the usual £1 something or other. :)

    the vanilla one is yummy!
  • In my Asda today noticed they had large 200g jars of Gold Blend coffee for £3 :T

I've noticed that as well, think the 'less than 2%" refers to the fat content.... my apologies if thats not what you meant. Also in the ASDA in Huntly, there seems to be milk from a local company on the shelf above, which is about 30p cheaper if I remember, but that could be a scottish thing.

Just noticed Radox are back at £1 each and those 'big' bags of revels, maltesers and minstrels on offer at 2 for £2.

ETA, whilst doing my order, noticed that the savoury slices (peppered steak, minced steak and onion, tikka etc) 2 in a pack @£1.26 or buy 2 pack for £1. Suitable for home freezing.
