and two onions. Will this make a nice soup? I usually put leeks in my soup but I have none.
ETA - I've just found about 100g of feta cheese and a red pepper that need using up too, if these will make my soup any better?

Do you have any lentils? If so this will make a fab soup and yes you can add the pepper. I would leave out the feta.
Without lentils it will still make a nice soup. Don't make it too thin tostart, you can always add more water/stock as you go. I make somehting similar and add tin toms and red kidney beans.WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb

The soup will be fine with what you've got. I put a tin of tomatoes in too & any frozen veg that are in the freezer, including sweetcorn. I bung everything in the pan with water/stock to cover and simmer until the veg are soft. I add lentils but if you haven't got any it'll still be ok. I then blend it & call it mystery veg soup - the mystery being that nobody knows what will be in it each time its made lol!0
