Probate, Me & The House

Hi,
I should have sold the house as soon as mum died, knowing it was going to go belly up, but I didn't. I tried getting the house in my name and transferring mortgage but Abbey wouldn't allow it after application, I did try a broker after, two but couldn't get past the requirement stages. I have an unpaid ccj under two years.
Do I have any right to have the house in my name at all or do I just keep paying mortgage off in mum's name? In an ideal world I'd get mortgage and take money out of the house and buy abroad but a bit difficult at the moment as we all know.
I live abroad, self employed, deciding where to pay tax and have a ccj, I'm putting the house on the market next week, is that the only way out of this situation, get the cash? and i know that won't be easy either.
Thanks
Lee

You can't let this situation continue indefinitely. Either sell up and clear the mortgage or get it transferred into your name.
