A single figure doesn’t tell the whole story. The spread of incomes is greater in the USA. There are more people propping up the bottom of the tables and more people racing far ahead of the median. For example, there is a lower percentage of very rich people in Norway, even though Norway is wealthier than both the UK and the USA. The income spread in Norway is much narrower.

I can't believe I have missed this thread! I am the biggest Oprah fan and keep flicking through the TV guide every now and then to see if anyone has picked it up - sadly I have even called Sky and asked but have only just found it this morning as the show was finishing. Have I been misisng the show since February?! D'oh.

Flicking through the TV guide shows parts 4 and 5 of the Debt Diet are due to air here on ITV 2 10:25 a.m. on the 8th and 9th June. Have the taping set up and ready :O)

    Debt-free and Proud! Mortgage-free Glee!
Sounds interesting. I'll have to watch that.

Debt diet / money diet - is this a coincidence. Perhaps Oprah is really Martin's biggest fan!

So when is Oprah going to invite Martin onto the programme? Get the Money Diet going transcontinentally....?

She wants to do it - get the man who can!

Just for the hell of it, I've gone onto her website and emailed details of this site. Can't see what harm it would do..... :)
