DELL Precision 370

Ordered a Dell Precision 370, 3.4 GHZ/800MHz 1MB Cache, 1GB DDR2 533, ECC, 3.5 floppy, 160 GB HD, DVD-R drive, 128MB graphics, 19ins ultra sharp TFT +sound bar and other bits..
I initially tried to order via the web using an E code DMUK4-w1202, but couldn’t get the spec I wanted. So I used the ring back feature and was called by Dell business sales in Ireland.

I explained what I wanted, they gave me the price, I said I wasn’t sure and asked if they could do some further deals, to my surprise they offered a discount (above the e-code discount +free monitor upgrade) and I got free delivery, to cut a long story short, I paid £1257.25, delivered (inc vat) and I estimate is a saving of around £210.00 if I could have ordered the same configuration from the web. Given the system was already on offer I was delighted.
